Focus on psychiatric intensive care unit

Another day, another healthcare environment being transformed.

This time we are focusing on Maples psychiatric intensive care unit at St James’s Hospital in Portsmouth.

The ambitious extension, alteration and refurbishment scheme follows recently completed improvements to the adjacent Hawthorn ward.

Once finished, the modernised unit should provide a much improved environment for both patients and staff.
